Hi!
I’m Francesco and I was born in Verona (Italy) in 1990.
After completing a degree in “Computer Science Applied to Music” (University of Milan), a Postgraduate Diploma in “Interactive Digital Media” (Ravensbourne College, London), and a Master in “Computing with Digital Media” (University of Sussex, Brighton) I am currently pursuing a PhD in Media Arts and Technology (Queen Mary University, London) for which I was offered a fully funded position.
Sound artist, software developer and interaction designer, I develop installations and performances that aim to explore the relations occurring between creativity and technology and how digital media tools can be used to extend our expressive capabilities. As sound artist I am particularly interested in capturing daily soundscapes and decontextualizing sound sources by proposing re-worked versions of musical pieces.
I am currently pursuing a PhD in Media & Art Technology and collaborating with artists based in UK and Italy. My works were exhibited in festivals and events across Europe.
